Candidate Terms and Conditions for HireSplit

1. Introduction

Welcome to HireSplit, a platform dedicated to connecting candidates with potential employers through our innovative services. By accessing and using our website, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these carefully before using our services.

2. Definitions

• "Platform" refers to our website, mobile application, and other associated services provided by HireSplit.
• "User", "You", and "Your" refer to candidates and any other users of the Platform.
• "Client" refers to companies or recruiters using HireSplit's services to find and hire candidates.
• "Candidate" refers to both referrer and applicant.
• "Referrer" refers to individuals who refer applicants to job opportunities.
• "Applicant" refers to candidates referred to job opportunities through HireSplit.
• "Content" includes all text, graphics, user interfaces, visual interfaces, photographs, trademarks, logos, sounds, music, artwork, and computer code generated, provided, or otherwise made accessible on or through the Platform.

3. Eligibility and Access Criteria

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.

You may be required to provide certain professional credentials or qualifications to register as a candidate.

4. Data Sharing and Privacy

In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), your personal data will be collected, used, and shared strictly as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Your information may be shared with potential employers and third-party recruiters as necessary to provide employment opportunities.

You have the right to access, correct, and request the deletion of your personal data. Consent for data use is explicit and can be withdrawn by you at any time.

By using the Platform, the applicant consents to HireSplit advising the referrer about your job application progress.

By submitting candidates' contact details directly into the HireSplit system, you are confirming they have given you explicit consent to share their data.

5. Payment Terms

Candidates are not required to make any payments to HireSplit for standard job search and application services on our Platform.

HireSplit operates on a referral fee model, receiving payments from clients when a candidate is successfully placed. Fees are distributed on the 28th of the month once payment to HireSplit from clients is confirmed. All clients have different referral policies - these will be communicated via email to the referrer at the point of referral.

Please note that a referral is only accepted through the HireSplit platform and the client has the right to reject the referral in line with their policies.

6. User Responsibilities and Conduct

You agree to use our Platform responsibly and ethically, complying with all applicable laws and regulations. Prohibited activities include:

• Posting inaccurate, false, or misleading information.
• Harassing or discriminating against other users.
• Violating the intellectual property rights of others.
• Engaging in any activity that disrupts or interferes with our services, including the servers and networks.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the Platform is the exclusive property of HireSplit or its licensors. By posting content, you grant HireSplit a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content in connection with the services provided by the Platform, subject to compliance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Termination and Account Cancellation

HireSplit reserves the right to terminate your account at any time. You may cancel your account at any time through the Platform interface or by contacting our support team.

9. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

Disputes arising under these terms will be resolved through mediation or, if necessary, in court subject to the laws of The United Kingdom.

10. Changes to Platform or Services

We reserve the right to modify our Platform and services. Significant changes will be communicated to you through your registered email and notifications on the Platform.

11. Warranties and Guarantees

HireSplit does not guarantee employment outcomes or the accuracy of job listings and other content provided by third parties.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HireSplit from any claims arising from your use of the Platform, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

13. Feedback and Communications

Feedback and inquiries can be directed to our support team via the contact details provided on our Platform. We value your input and strive to address your concerns promptly.

14. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Notice of changes will be provided on the Platform, and your continued use after such notice will constitute acceptance of the new terms.
